DESCRIPTION: |
A high quality traditional decorative paint based on a natural gelatin
binder. Artists quality earth and natural powder pigments provide matchless
purity and quality of colour. A permeable paint suitable for use in older
buildings. |

Soft Distempere is an environmentally friendly product made with natural sustainable ingredients. It contains no VOCs, no petrochemical based ingredients, and no lead. Water-based. |

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: |
Composition Calcium Carbonate powder in gelatin dispersion. Solvent Water Performance Drying: In good drying conditions. Touch dry in 4 hours. Allow 12 hours between coats. Limitations Do not apply in temperatures below 5ºC.

PREPARATION: |
Ensure Soft Distempere is within shelf-life period. All surfaces should be sound, dry, and free from dirt, oil, grease or
other contamination. Previously distempered surfaces should be wiped/
washed free of any powdery surface material. |
APPLICATION: |
Method Best applied by brush. Cannot be spray applied. Brushes and equipment should be cleaned with warm, soapy water immediately after use. Thinning Soft Distempere is temperature sensitive and will thicken in cold conditions. If paint has thickened, it is preferable to stand the can in a bucket of hot water rather than dilute. Only if absolutely necessary dilute by no more than 10% (by volume) with clean water. Two coats normally recommended. Coverage |
